Fourth graders work toward the Webelos rank.

​

Please note: Any new Scouts will need to earn their Bobcat Badge before working towards their rank badge.

 

The Webelos rank is earned by:

  • Being an active member den member for three months.

  • Completing the five required core adventures.

  • Complete at least one elective adventure.

  • With your parent or guardian, complete the exercises in the pamphlet entitled How to Protect Your Children From Child Abuse: A Parent’s Guide. 

  • Watch the Protect Yourself Rules video for 4th Grade, Webelos.

Outside of the required adventures, Webelos Scouts will also work to complete elective adventures.

​

Some of the things Webelos Scouts will learn about this year are:

  - planning and preparing a balanced meal

  - building a fire

  - first aid

  - planning campouts

  - hiking and wildlife

  - the American flag, the Pledge of Allegiance and US history

  - community leaders

  - what to do in an emergency

​
