First graders work toward the Tiger rank.

 

*Adult partner participation is required for all Tigers.*

Please note: Any new Scouts will need to earn their Bobcat Badge before working towards their rank badge.

 

The Tiger rank is earned by:

• Completing the six required core adventures.

• Complete at least one elective adventure.

• With your parent or guardian, complete the exercises in the pamphlet entitled How to Protect Your Children From Child Abuse: A Parent’s Guide. 

• Watch the Protect Yourself Rules video for 1st Grade, Tiger.

Outside of the required adventures, Tiger Scouts will also work to complete elective adventures.

Some of the things Tiger Scouts will learn about this year are:

  - leadership and working as a team

  - fitness, health, nutrition and hygiene

  - sportsmanship

  - the outdoors and nature

  - the Cub Scout Six Essentials
